Food intolerances and how to fix them – Part 1
Food intolerances have seen a 50% rise in the time between 1997 and 2007 according to foodallergy.org. Interestingly, just 8 products account for 90% of food related allergic reactions in the United States, these are:-
- Tree nuts which include – walnut, almond, hazelnut, cashew, pistachio, and brazil nut etc.
- Eggs (most shampoo contains eggs)
Symptoms of food intolerances
Obviously the severity of the allergy/intolerance varies greatly, in fact many people may not even realise that they have a sensitivity. Let me explain; if for instance you are sensitive to wheat and as part of the western diet you eat bread daily possibly toast for breakfast, or a packed lunch of a sandwich and maybe you even have pasta or pizza a few times a week. You are probably consuming wheat at least once a day. Common symptoms of wheat intolerance are lethargy and bloating. You may well be tired and have an engorged gut but just think it’s the hours you work or looking after kids or in fact simply ageing, for the tiredness and maybe food or booze for the stomach? It is not until you remove wheat from your diet that you realise that it was the culprit. You don’t realise how bad the bread makes you feel, never associating the heavy bloated feeling with your loaf.
In addition sometimes ingredients are in unexpected places, for example many shampoos contain eggs as a shining agent. I had one client who had an allergic reaction that he couldn’t place, he woke up one morning had breakfast, then his lip swelled and he ended up in hospital. I tuned in and discovered he had an allergy to eggs and asked if he had eaten eggs for breakfast? He had. I then looked at him quizzically wondering if had used shampoo that morning? The man was bald so it seemed unlikely. He actually still washed his head with shampoo as he had never broken the habit. The combination of washing his scalp, and eating eggs for breakfast, so 2 lots of egg had caused his hospitalisation.
So what are food intolerances?
So what are food intolerances? Every substance has a unique vibration energetically, even people. You can meet someone new and get good vibes or indeed bad vibes off them, there is a resonance there. Feng shui is bases upon this, that all objects project certain energies if they are in the correct places, it makes your home feel more comfortable. These are quantifiable vibrations that can be measured by machines. We all recognise this though with how much lighter our homes feel when we have a big clear out.
All foods or allergens also have their own individual energy field; some of these do not resonate well with us at all. This is on an energetic level. This then causes a reaction in the physical, which can be an allergic reaction or an inability to process the substance. If you bring a person’s body in unison energetically with the substance, the reaction no longer occurs.
